Communication & Mass Media Complete provides research in areas related to communication and mass media. Accounting Research Manager form CCH provides users with the most current developments in accounting, auditing, SEC, and government standards. ISI Emerging Markets provides access to general news, company and industry information, financial information, macroeconomic analysis, and legal news from emerging markets in 57 countries and regions in Europe, Latin America, Africa, The Middle East, Central Asia, and Asia. ISI gathers information from a number of sources, including The Economist Intelligence Unit and the OECD.
Euromonitor's GMI database provides information on consumer lifestyles, consumer market size, major market profiles, forecasts, companies and brands, and market analysis.
Factiva is a new service combining Dow-Jones Interactive and Reuters Business Briefing. Factiva indexes full-text editions of around 8,000 newspapers, newswires, magazines and trade journals, including Dow-Jones and Reuters publications. Factiva provides company screening reports and company/industry comparison reports, industry reports, and stock and fund quotes. There is a six simultaneous user limit on Factiva.
Use OCLC First Search to find books, articles, films, computer software, and other material on the subject you need. Bentley's subscription to First Search does not provide and full-text, just citations and abstracts. RIA Checkpoint offers tax professionals advanced research and analysis tools. Checkpoint provides authoritative and up-to-date research on ever changing taxation issues. Safari Books, from ProQuest, provides user with access to more than 100 electronic tech books, including titles from O'Reilly press. Users can search for authors, subjects or publishers. Net Advantage from Standard & Poor's provides access to S&P's Industry Surveys, Stock Guides, Dividend Records, Mutual Fund Ratings, Corporation Records and much more. Industry surveys are updated twice yearly and provide key data on more than 50 industries from Health Care to Telecomunications.
Thomson Research provides corporate reports and company financials, including 10-Ks, 10-Q's, tear sheets, stock quotes, and daily, weekly and monthly stock graphs, from 1995 to the present. Search for company information on companies publicly traded on the major U.S. stock exchanges by ticker symbol or company name.

Expanded Academic ASAP (1980-present), indexes more than 1,500 periodicals, with more than 500 being full-text. Subjects covered include astronomy, religion, law, history, psychology, humanities, current events, sociology, communications, and the general sciences.
The MLA Directory of Periodicals contains information on over 5,500 current and out-of-print journals and series included in the MLA International Bibliography. The entries list editorial addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, e-mail addresses, frequency of publication, descriptions of the periodicals' scopes, circulation figures, subscription prices and addresses, advertising information, peer review, and submission guidelines. The directory also provides statistics on how many articles and book reviews the periodicals publish each year, as well as how many are submitted.
MLA International Bibliography is an index of books, articles, and dissertations on modern languages, literature, folklore, and linguistics, with some linking to full-text. It is produced by the Modern Language Association (MLA), an organization dedicated to the study and teaching of language and literature. The electronic version of the Bibliography dates back to 1963 and contains more than 1.6 million citations from more than 4,400 periodicals (including peer-reviewed e-journals) and 1,000 book publishers. It is compiled by the staff of the MLA Department of Bibliographic Information Services with the cooperation of more than 100 contributing bibliographers in the United States and abroad.
Aggregated Databases: In general, an aggregated database is a collection of periodical titles organized with a common interface and often providing full text of the articles indexed. Aggregated databases provide content published by various sources. Some popular library aggregated databases include those from ProQuest, EBSCOHost, Factiva, and InfoTrac.
Bibliographic Databases: A bibliographic database is a collection of titles organized in a database suite with a common interface not providing access to the full text. Bibliographic databases can index books, journals, movies, sound recordings, spoken word pieces, and other content. OCLC's First Search databases and the library's catalog are examples of bibliographic databases.
Citation Databases: A citation database is a collection of periodical titles organized with a common interface and often providing indexing of the articles in various subject areas. Citation databases provide citations to content published by various sources, but rarely provide the full text of the articles indexed.
Newspaper Database: Newspaper databases provide access to the full text of newspaper. They can include historical collections from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal historical collections via ProQuest. Many newspapers are indexed in aggregated such as Factiva, LexisNexis Academic, InfoTrac, EBSCOHost and ProQuest. Elsevier Science Direct – College Edition provides full-text coverage from 2002 to the present for 350 peer reviewed journals in the social and behavioral sciences.
